It's been a while since I updated about Kendrick. He's still very active and fun to play with at this stage. In terms of speech and development, I must say that Kendrick has shown another level of growth. He can say more words which have more syllables like 'butterfly', 'Harry Potter', 'ladybird', 'McDonald', and also put together very simple sentences like "Mummy read book", "Papa sit here", "Papa drive to Ikea", "Happy Birthday to you", "Good night Pooh Bear", "Press this", etc. He can also fill in the blanks to some songs like London Bridge is Falling Down, Papa Bu Zai Jia, You are my Sunshine, Wheels on the Bus, Incy Wincy Spider, and even this medley of songs that Dear learnt from his Scouts days and have been singing to him since Kendrick was a baby!
Kendrick also recognises almost all the alphabets and knows 1 - 10 pretty well. Trying to teach him colours now which he seems to be picking up slowly and also reciting the day of the week. We also notice something quite interesting in the way Kendrick pictures things. He is actually able to realise that the letter 'M' when we turn it upside down would be the letter 'W'. This is something we did not teach him yet he realised it himself. Sometimes in other pictures, he would also turn things around just to see the object in something else familiar that he knows instead. Interesting how the brains of these kids work! :) He also learnt to play with his first Lego duplo toys that Dear bought him recently. At first Kendrick did not know how to piece the Lego pieces together, but we showed him once and he eventually learnt it himself by sitting down and patiently playing on his own. Thought that was really cute to see him play quietly and happily for sometime just building and removing the Lego pieces.

National Day and dressed up in red and white!
Kendrick has been doodling a lot on his drawing board. He is able to have better control of the pen now and sometimes draws lines or no. 1 or circular looking objects. And each time we ask him what he has drawn, he will tell us something that he knows
